I'm sitting at work, trying to be productive (and doing better at it than yesterday), while the book I am currently reading sits on my desk just staring at me. I finished Lady Chatt...so now I'm on to Dan Brown's "Deception Point". There is nothing like a good thriller to drive you nuts at work. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't read it for an hour over my lunch break. But now I sit here and try to control my urge to pick it up and read it during the work day. I can put it in my backpack, but it still calls out to me from there. "PICK ME UP" and "READ ME" are the voices I usually hear ;-)
Anyway...I only have an hour and 15 minutes till I can go home--surely I can make it until then? Maybe I need to go take a quick walk outside and get some fresh air....maybe I can take the book with me on the walk...*sneaky laugh* no-no that would just make things worse.
Looking forward to a nice weekend- Weather should be good-but then again, it usually is here in the summertime.
