the pits

What is it about airports that bring out the worst in people? Even just going to an airport to pick someone up or drop someone off can show you the worst of humanity. People are mean, selfish, and totally self-absorbed. I try to do my best to be an extra nice person when I am at the airport, as if to make up for the other yahoo's who do their best to be extra crabby. Maybe my niceness will rub off on them? I understand that airports are stressful, and that everyone wants to get to their destination as quick as they can, but why is it necessary to cut in line or push on the seat in front of you? Oh well...just a little observation. What is it that makes you crabby in an airport?
