Plural of Matrix?

David and I have been laughing and joking about the plural of matrix. We know in math the plural is matrices, but when you are talking about a name of something, it kind of sounds like it should be Matrixes. For example, if we said "We're going to look at matrices today", would anyone know what we were talking ab out? Probably not. But if we said "We're going to look at Matrixes today" they might know that we were going to look at cars. Anyway we get a laugh out of it everytime we have to say the plural of matrix.

In other news from the car front...we bought one. We decided to go with a Toyota Matrix. It is a 2004 model, with 24k miles on it. It is gray--sort of charcoal gray or maybe a brownish gray. I'll get a picture of it and post soon. I'm excited about it. It is a great car in my opinion. But as with all big purchases, David is having some buyer's remorse. I think he'll get over it in a few days. I want to take Maggie out in the car today to the dog park and see how she likes it.

We've had an exciting weekend so far, and I think today we will just relax a little bit and get a few errands done.
