Making Do

I saw something just a couple of hours ago that made me smile. A man rode by on a bicycle while I was walking to an appointment on campus. Instead of one of those straps that holds your pant leg away from the gears, he was wearing a binder clip on his pants to keep them away from the gears. He was an older kind of dorky guy--and it just made me laugh that he decided a binder clip would do the job. And it did do a pretty good job. Looked pretty funny though.
