We've got a "fun" weekend ahead of us. We'll be scraping the ceiling in the office to get the popcorn texture down. Since it is a long weekend, we think we can get it done by monday. Then we'll have to paint the walls and put up trim. We are also thinking that since it is memorial day there are probably some good sales going on at home depot or lowes so we can buy a new dishwasher to replace our leaky one.
I think we are also going to box up a bunch of our stuff and rent a storage locker for a few months. It will really help when it comes to selling for the place to seem uncluttered and not have the closets be stuffed to the gills with our things. The office closet is jam-packed with things, so that is going to be a project in and of itself to box stuff up in ways that make sense for replacing in the closet and putting into storage.
I think I'll be very tired by the end of the weekend, but hopefully, I'll feel like we accomplished alot. Oh- since the office will be out of commission I won't have any access to email over the weekend.
Don't worry- we'll also have a little "real" fun. We are planning to go see DaVinci code tonight.
