The highlight of today was the 10 minute talk by Barack Obama at the end of the meeting. He is so cute- and intelligent- and smooth- and just generally had a good aura around him. I sort of feel like he is the modern day J.F.K. He has some of those same qualities that made Kennedy such a popular president. Although, I hear that the odds of going from a senate seat to the presidency are pretty low, and he would have been better going into the House, he sure seems like a possible candidate. He just has to make sure he doesn't try to become all things to all people.
Also had dinner with Jen, which was great. I even got to see her "badge" which gets her onto military bases. quite impressive.
I'm feeling really tired now. It is time for me to go to bed- I didn't sleep very well last night so I'd like to try and get some good sleep tonight.

liz, that is awesome you got to see him speak. i misread your first sentense and thought you said "talk with" instead of "talk by." so i was envisioning you networking with old barack.
