So, we still haven't heard from the other folk's insurance company regarding the damage to our car. It was good enough to drive down to Mt. Rainier this past weekend, so the damage is mainly superficial (hopefully).
The wedding we went to was fabulous. It was the most relaxed wedding I have ever been to. It was all outside in a beautiful site south of Mt. Rainier, in a town called Packwood. The wind was blowing pretty hard through the valley, but it slowed down as the night went on. The bride was beautiful- and the groom looked so happy. I thing they had a great wedding and hopefully they will have a wonderful honeymoon on the Yucatan peninsula.
We went for a hike on Mt. Rainier's sunrise point side. It was great- about 3.5 miles, and wonderful views along the ridgeline, and two lakes along the way. Unfortunately, I forgot to put sunscreen on my shoulders and now they are sunburned. David's head got a little burned too. Oops!
We picked Maggie up on the way home from the mountain, and she was so funny. I think she really liked it at the boarding place. When David and I walked up to the fence where most of the dogs were being kept, all of the dogs except Maggie rushed over to greet us. But maggie just stayed where she was, looking up at the person that was throwing the ball for her. She didn't even look at us until we called her name. Then she looked over and sort of stared at us for a few seconds before she realized who we were. Then she came over to the fence as well. But she was so into playing fetch that she just ignored us. She slept well last night, and seemed to be pretty tired even this morning. I think they really ran her alot. I like this place alot. It seems that Maggie likes it too!
Those are the updates from the weekend. until tomorrow....
