Lunch with a friend

Today I had lunch with a friend who was in Seattle for a mutual friend's wedding. We went to Chipotle--that mcdonald's owned mexican restaurant. It is actually the most healthy mexican I think you can eat. It was really yummy. I had a chicken burrito bol (yep-spelled without a w). I don't know how many calories it was, but I didn't feel too heavy after eating the WHOLE THING!

It was great to catch up with my friend. He is working in Indiana at Purdue and just made it through his first year as a "professor". I'm sure it will get easier here on out...(I hope it does, for his sake). He is the person who took a picture of me that I used on my online profile that helped me meet David. In fact, that picture that S. took is one of David's favorite pictures of me. It is from the Zoo, and I'm sort of hanging out with a monkey sculpture (which reminds me of my own dear monkey -you know who you are).

anyway, I'm not sure I'll have much time over the next 2 days to post. My work is having a retreat. And it is supposed to be in the 90's-and we'll be in a building without air conditioning, but has something called "air chillers". Whatever that means. We'll see if they can chill the air enough.
