We've got a big one planned for this weekend. Not big in size, but big in difficulty...well..hopefully it won't be that difficult. We have bought a washer and dryer, but apparently they never had one before, because there is no vent for the dryer. With a wood siding house, this would be an easy task to make the vent hole. Unfortunately, our house is brick. David called around to see how much it would cost to have someone come out and do it for us...about 300 bucks. So, we decided to look up how to do it, and do it ourselves. Last night we went out and bought a masonry bit, and a masonry chisel, and the expanding foam and the vent hood. So, tomorrow-we'll see what we can do. They are supposed to deliver the dryer and washer on monday--so we've got 2 days to fix it if something goes wrong. But I'm confident it won't. David does such a good job.
