David and I recently bought these cool pedometers that measure not only steps, but also aerobic steps (taken at a fast pace or for longer than 10 minutes). They are so cool. I'm wearing mine today and I've already logged 3721 steps. It is more than a third of the way to my goal! I've also walked about a mile and a half already today. It really is motivating. When I think, should I take the bus or walk? It is easier to say "walk" when I've got my pedometer on, because I want to rack up the steps.
