Beautiful day out here in Seattle. Blue skies, occassional fluffy white clouds, and temperatures that feel like 75 degrees. Today is a day I want to leave work and go for a long walk by the lake taking in the beauty around me. Alas, my paycheck won't come if I don't put in my time. Anyone want to come visit Seattle? The summer is great time to do it!
So, I have a kind of yucky, kind of funny story about Maggie that David told me last night. When he got home from work, I was already there. This is sort of how the conversation went (with a little embellishment).
D: If I were you I wouldn't get to close to Maggie's mouth
L: Other than slime, what is wrong with her mouth? (Liz gets a little scared that maggie has rabies or something)
D: Oh, just that Maggie had a nice little snack on our walk at lunch today
L: Huh, what kind of snack?
D: Well, she ate a pile of shit!
L: What?
D: Yes, she went to go sniff a pile of poo, like she usually does, and before I realized it, she had put it in her mouth. I told her no, and to drop it, but she had already devoured it.
L: Oh my gosh. That is disgusting (Laughing)
D: It was as big as a softball--a lot of shit!
L: Really that big?
D: Yep, I got so mad that she ate it that I took her home after that. (Feeling disgusted that our dog apparently eats shit)
L: Well, hopefully she hasn't ruined her appetite for dinner!
