Well, we didn't really get out-bid this time. This time the other offer was CASH. Basically the same amount, but no financing required. It really sucks. There is just no way to compete with that. Our realtor says that this is not that common, and that it is highly likely we won't have to deal with this situation again. She also said she was really confident that we were going to get the house. She was surprised to hear that we didn't.
So- phooey. Another broken heart over a house.
We worked out our frustration last night after we heard by putting up our tile backsplash. Now we just have to grout it and it will be done.

So sorry to hear that you didn't get the house. Something good will come along & it will be the perfect house for you two. Be patient; I know it is hard. Sending good thoughts your way that a better house is on the horizon!
