So, this is what our next door neighbor's house looked like this morning. It no longer exists.
When we got home last night we talked to one of the contractor's assistants and he showed us the survey marker which makes it pretty clear that the fence that was torn down was theirs, not ours. So, the only fence we own is the one on the back alley which is is in the worst shape of all of them. The part that worries me about losing the fence is that we wanted to get a dog soon, and I don't know if they will adopt to us now...

I took this picture from our front door. See how close they are to us? It was really loud this morning, but all that dust was luckily blowing away from our house.
