Harry Potter
I just can't believe the last book is finally here. I started reading it on saturday and I am about 3/4 of the way through. I want to see the end, but I also am not ready for it to end. I know lots of "grown-ups" who have followed the series and are now finishing up the last book. In about a week or so, I think lots of people will be having water cooler discussions about the book. I've been impressed that no one who has finished the book has tried to tell me the ending, or even give me hints. They have all be very vague about the ending. I'm happy about that.

I finished it last night too. I've been reading them all along. I came to the first book a little late, but since then David and I have been reading them as they come out. The last movie was pretty good, I thought. I heard that the director of the 5th one is also working on the 6th one.
We started reading them right before the 4th book was getting ready to come out. I spent my Thanksgiving break reading them, and have picked up the rest as soon as they came out since then.
I haven't seen the latest movie, but probably will since I've seen the others. It's unfortunate how much they have to cut out of the movie, but not surprising with how detailed she gets.
I have to say I'm a little happy the series is done, only because when a new book comes out, I have to monitor my internet access closely since there are so many people out there ready and wanting to post spoilers. It was no different this time, but I was surprised how much misinformation was out there.
