I can't help but feel like the requirements for the Supreme court nominee were those above. How can they nominate someone to the supreme court that has had no experience as a judge? Boy, I hope they look for someone more qualified than Harriet Miers. He says he picked the best candidate he could find....well, I don't think he looked very far. Here is his exact quote: "I picked the best person I could find. People know we're close." She was his personal lawyer and most recently White House counsel. They certainly are close...I'd say close enough to call cronies!
Okay, okay...I'm done now. I just think it would be so sad to have Sandra Day O'Connor replaced by Ms. Miers.
